The Access Ortho medical staff will perform a thorough examination of your injury. This will include a range of specific ligament and muscle tests to assess the integrity of your knee or hip. Radiology will also be arranged such as X-ray, US, CT and MRI which will give the team further information about your injury. Treatment may include crutches knee splints including ROM braces and Richard’s splints, and specific instructions on when and how you can weigh bear. Access Ortho will also provide you with advice on when you can safely return to your usual activities. If surgery is required for your injury, Access Ortho will assist in facilitating this referral process.
